The rest of us won’t be able to get past the 7380’s “unique” traits. But then again, the 7380 wasn’t probably meant for us anyway. So if you are looking for a very fashionable phone that will help you stand out at the singles bar, and believe in fashion first with SMS messages a distant second, then I think you will be happy with the 7380. For that reason, I feel OK about giving it a “Recommended” rating.Where is the screen? Where is the keypad? The Nokia 7380 is certainly not a phone for everyone. Heck, it probably isn’t even a phone for 1% of everybody. But there are going to be those that will appreciate its slim form factor and unique looks, and who will be willing to overlook silly things such as the lack of a keypad.In spite of what other sites and even Nokia itself may claim, our experience with the 7380 is that it has good battery life. The handset audio is a bit lacking, but its speakerphone and Bluetooth support are very good and can make up for that to some extent. The 2 megapixel camera it has is good in certain circumstances, and it even ships with a nice cloth carry bag and a wrist strap. That is going to be enough for some people.
